Tomorrow, June 24th, marks two years since my lumpectomy surgery. WOO HOO!
And on an even more positive note, I just had my bi-lateral mammogram done on Thursday. And even though I have not seen the written report, these mammograms are reviewed by a doctor before you even leave the office in case they need more views, ultrasounds, or biopsies. Yep, they'd do it right then and there if needed. So the radiologist comes out afterwards and says, "Good News! We don't need to see you until November, and that will be for your regular annual screening mammogram." The "regular ole mammogram" not the post-cancer mammogram. YIPPEE!!
