And now that treatment is nearly one year behind me, it's time to log in some of the fun stuff; rather than just talk of cancer and doctors.

LIVESTRONG: I am strong. I am loved. I am healthy. WE WILL WIN!

Have you or your loved one had their annual mammogram? PLEASE, don't put it off. Speaking from experience, I highly recommend monthly self exam as well.

WARNING: Contents may be uplifting, sad, funny, scary, downright depressing ~ THAT IS CANCER .... at it's best, at its worst.

PLEASE ~ Feel free to share this blog with anyone who is interested to learn about my journey. While I welcome their support, I hope that by sharing this experience freely to the universe I may help to support others by breaking down some of the barriers and fear associated with breast cancer and the treatment.

Relay for Life Sonoma Team

Being on an American Cancer Society Relay For Life team is an amazing experience!

Picture the scene... You’re surrounded by your family and friends to join Debbie's Blasting Crew, urging each other on to make another lap around the track, and the air is filled with the sound of laughter and sometimes tears, as our community celebrates those who have fought cancer, remembers the loved ones we’ve lost, and fights back against a disease that has taken too much from too many.

It would be an honor to have you on our team for this year’s Relay For Life.

Help me to celebrate as I may be through with all my treatment (or nearly through) by this time.

The American Cancer Society is saving lives by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.

Are you ready to join with me in the fight to blast cancer to smithereens? Besides, it is a lot of fun!
